TOKYO, June 4 (RIA Novosti) - Japan has recorded its lowest birth rate since 1899, with only 686,060 babies born in 2024, according to data released by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare on Wednesday. The figure includes both foreigners living in Japan and Japanese living abroad, the ministry said.
