Master Irish trainer Aidan O'Brien won a record-extending 11th Irish 1000 Guineas as favourite Lake Victoria won in style at The Curragh. Ryan Moore had to work hard to get last year's Breeder's Cup Juvenile Fillies Stakes victor past outsider California Dreamer but once she hit the front she brooked no argument in taking the honours. She had over two lengths to spare on 50/1 runner-up California Dreamer with another outsider Cercene (20/1) third......
