Rome (PA Media/dpa) - Denmark's Kasper Asgreen burst clear of a three-man breakaway in the closing exchanges to win stage 14 of the Giro d'Italia in Nova Gorica on Saturday. The EF Education-EasyPost rider proved too strong for Italian pair Mirco Maestri and Martin Marcellusi with five kilometres to go and then held off the chasing peloton for victory.
