Anglo-French photographer Ed Alcock, who has used striking portraits to illustrate major events such as Brexit, on Thursday won the Niepce Prize, one of France's top photography awards, organisers said. Alcock, who was born in Britain but has lived in France since 2000, take pictures for many leading international media as well as preparing exhibitions in several countries.
