Yuan Becomes 5th Major Currency in Trade Settlements Via SWIFT in April

MOSCOW, May 21 (RIA Novosti) - The Chinese yuan became the fifth major currency in trade settlements through the international payment system SWIFT in April, RIA Novosti calculated on Wednesday using the payment system's data. The share of yuan was 3.50% in April, which is a 0​​​.63 percentage point (pp) decrease from the month before.
