German cycling icon Greipel quits as national coach

Berlin (dpa) - André Greipel has quit as Germany's national road cycling coach. "I'm thankful for the experience as coach of the national team, but I can no longer do the job because of time constraints," the 42-year-old said in a statement on Tuesday from the German Cycling Federation. The former sprint expert, who won 11 Tour de France stages during his racing career, took over as the Germany coach in early 2023. He is being replaced by Jens Ze......
