Teenager struck, injured by pick up truck at Mpyu

KATIMA MULILO, 18 MAY (NAMPA) – The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) in the Zambezi Region is investigating a case of reckless and negligent driving after a 15-year-old boy was struck and injured by a pick-up truck on Saturday.
NamPol’s Zambezi Regional Spokesperson, Inspector Kisco Sitali, said the incident occurred at Mpyu village in the Lisikili area.
According to Sitali, the driver of the Toyota Hilux is licensed.
