WTA president Steve Simon, whose tenure has been marked by tensions with China, is to leave his post in December, the body that runs the women's tennis tour announced on Thursday. In charge of women's tennis since 2015, Simon revealed his intention to leave to the organisation last autumn, according to the press release published by the WTA.
