Sri Lankan helicopter crashes, all 12 on board survive

COLOMBO, May 9 (Xinhua) -- A Sri Lanka air force helicopter crashed into the Maduru Oya Reservoir in North Central Province of the country on Friday morning, but all those on board survived, said air force spokesperson Eranda Geeganage. Twelve people, including two pilots, were on board at the time of the crash. All individuals survived and are currently receiving treatment at two regional hospitals, said Geeganage.
