Germany's Heidelberger Materials revenue up 5%

Berlin (dpa) - German construction materials company Heidelberg Materials on Thursday said its first quarter revenue rose by 5% to ?4.7 billion ($5.3 billion) compared to a year earlier. Excluding scope and currency effects, the increase was 1.7%. The company reported that its first-quarter result from current operations (RCO) rose to ?235 million from ?232 million.
