OSHAKATI, 01 MAY (NAMPA) - Local transmission continues to be the main driver of malaria infections in Namibia, making up 81 per cent of the country’s total malaria cases, Minister of Health and Social Services Esperance Luvindao has revealed.
Luvindao, during the May Day commemoration at Oshakati on Thursday, said a total of 56 130 malaria cases have been reported in 10 endemic regions, namely Ohangwena, Omusati, Oshana, Oshikoto, Otjozondjupa,...
