15-year-old boy hangs himself at Kambumbu

NKURENKURU, 27 APR (NAMPA) - A 15-year-old boy identified as Katokora Thomas Hairwa allegedly committing suicide on Saturday by hanging himself with a bathing net on a tree at Kambumbu Village in Kavango West Region.
According to the Namibian Police Force's crime report issued on Sunday, the incident happened at 12h45 at Kambumbu village in the Tondoro Constituency.
It is alleged that the victim hanged himself with a bathing net in a tree. It further reported that the deceased had fought with his stepfather on Friday during the night, and the fight continued again on the morning of Saturday, after which the deceased allegedly walked out of the house.
No suicide note was found and his next of kin have been informed of his death.
