Tourist injured during robbery in Ongwediva

OSHAKATI, 23 APR (NAMPA) - A group of tourists were robbed at gunpoint at a guesthouse in Ongwediva on Monday, leaving one person injured.
The Namibian Police Force’s Crime Investigations Coordinator for the Oshana Region, Deputy Commissioner Frederick Ndjadila told Nampa on Wednesday the incident occurred around 22h00.
He said the four tourists from Angola had returned from a trip to Ruacana when the incident occurred.
