MARIENTAL, 23 APR (NAMPA) - The Namibia Water Corporation (NamWater) successfully reduced the water level in the Naute Dam from 107.6 per cent to 104 per cent by opening the floodgates Tuesday morning.
NamWater in a statement said the release was triggered by rising water levels following recent inflow that pushed the dam well beyond its full capacity.
