Kakondo to act as interim Opuwo mayor

OPUWO, 19 MAR (NAMPA) - Opuwo Deputy Mayor, Kasipo Kakondo, has assumed the role of interim mayor, taking over the functions and responsibilities of the office following the resignation of former mayor, Rosa Mbinge-Tjeundo.
Kakondo will hold onto the position on an interim basis until a new mayor is appointed.
His ascension to the top office was confirmed by the chairperson of the council’s management committee, Lucius Kaare Mupya, on Wednesday....
