OMUTHIYA, 19 MAR (NAMPA) – Forty-one children suffered different types of abuse in the Oshikoto Region during February 2025.
Chief social worker in the Oshikoto Region’s Directorate of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare, Frieda Kadhepa, shared the figures during the childcare protection forum meeting held in Omuthiya on Tuesday.
Kadhepa said 21 of the children were victims of neglect, 17 were sexually abused, two were physic...
