Tributes pour in for African Stars' Gariseb

GOBABIS, 12 MAR (NAMPA) - African Stars is mourning the passing of legendary player George Gariseb, who died last Saturday at the age of 69 in Okahandja.
The club’s stalwart joined the team in 1977 from his boyhood Spoilers from Okahandja and played as a defender in the team known as Okaserandu.
Gariseb won the Impala Cup with the then South West Africa team in 1986 and won five Mainstay Cups with Stars.
