WINDHOEK, 02 MAR (NAMPA) – In a profound show of unity and respect, Namibians came out in their thousands to honour their founding president, Sam Nujoma, at his funeral in Windhoek on Saturday.
The state funeral at the Heroes’ Acre marked the end of an era for the revered Statesman, whose steadfast dedication to the liberation of his people from colonial bondage and to the ideals of Pan-Africanism resonated worldwide.
