WALVIS BAY, 21 FEB (NAMPA) - Fifteen students recently completed training in basic rigging, firewatching, and gas testing for the offshore oil and gas industry at the Operatec Marine and Industrial Training Centre (OMITC) in Walvis Bay.
OMITC is a rigging training institution equipping young Namibians with essential skills for the oil and gas sector. The initiative, which began in 2023, has already seen several students undergo training.
