Man on the run after alleged rape of a minor

OSHAKATI, 18 FEB (NAMPA) - The police in the Oshana Region are searching for a 27-year-old man after he reportedly raped and impregnated a 15-year-old girl at Ompundja village.
The Namibian Police Force’s (NamPol) regional crime investigations coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Frederick Ndjadila, said the incident occurred in December, but was only reported to the police on Tuesday after the girl’s grandmother discovered that she is pregnant.
