Toddler drowns in water bucket

OSHAKATI, 18 FEB (NAMPA) – A 13-month-old baby boy allegedly died after falling into a bucket of water at the Pohamba residential area in Oshakati.
Namibian Police Force crime investigations coordinator for the Oshana Region, Deputy Commissioner Frederick Ndjadila said the drowning occurred around 23h30 on Monday.
“It is alleged that the lifeless body of the baby boy was discovered in a 20-litre bucket, which was half full of water,” he said.
