OPUWO, 30 January 2025 - A water pipe in Opuwo that is impacted by scale build-up. Approximately 60 per cent of the town’s pipes are affected, primarily due to mineral deposits that accumulate on the inner surfaces when hard water flows through, therefore hindering water flow and ultimately leading to damage in plumbing systems over time.
