Namibia marks 35th anniversary of its constitutional democracy

WINDHOEK, 09 FEB (NAMPA) – Namibia on Sunday commemorated the 35th anniversary of the adoption of the Namibian Constitution.
In an official statement on Sunday, President Nangolo Mbumba said the Constitution that was adopted on 09 February 1990, embodies the principles of democracy, human rights, and the rule of law.
“It demonstrates our determination to build a united, prosperous and peaceful nation,” he said.
