Namibia records annual inflation rate of 3.2 per cent in January

WINDHOEK, 06 FEB (NAMPA) - The annual inflation for January 2025 stood at 3.2 per cent, the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) revealed on Thursday.
In its consumer price index report, the NSA says inflation was lower than the 5.4 per cent registered in January 2024.
The statistician general, Alex Shimuafeni, said the monthly inflation rate was 1.1 per cent, higher than the 0.2 per cent registered during the preceding month.
