Outjo man falls victim to 'magic money' scam

KATIMA MULILO, 04 FEB (NAMPA) – The police in the Zambezi Region on Tuesday released a 22-year-old man who had allegedly swindled a 49-year-old Outjo resident out of N.dollars 21 000 in a scheme said to involve ‘magical charms.’
The suspect, who spent the weekend behind bars, was expected to make his first court appearance in the Katima Mulilo District Court before Magistrate Davy Kambinda on a charge of theft under false pretences on Monday.
