OMUTHIYA, 04 FEB (NAMPA) - The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) has reported that 143 rape cases were registered in the Oshikoto Region in 2024, a drop from the 149 rape cases recorded in 2023.
NamPol's regional crime investigations coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Titus Ekandjo, said the ages of the suspects in 2024 ranged from nine to 63 years old, while in 2023, it ranged from 10 to 73 years old.
