Namibia’s women’s hockey team snatches win against Australia

WINDHOEK, 04 FEB (NAMPA) – Namibia’s senior national women’s hockey team came from behind to win its International Hockey Federation (FIH) Indoor World Cup Croatia 2025 opening match against Australia on Monday.
The match which was broadcast live on television saw Australia start positively by opening the scoring early in the match through Kelsey Hughes. However, the Namibians were able to equalise the score through Taramarie Myburgh.
