Mbumba welcomes Hamas-Israel ceasefire, calls for lasting peace

WINDHOEK, 16 JAN (NAMPA) - President Nangolo Mbumba has welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel and expressed the hope that it opens a new opportunity for enduring peace in the Middle East.
The Prime Minister of Qatar, Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, announced on Wednesday that a full and complete ceasefire agreement had been reached, saying it will take effect on 19 January 2024.
