Toddler allegedly drowns in bucket of water in Omusati

OSHAKATI, 09 JAN (NAMPA) – A toddler allegedly drowned in a bucket of water at Onaniki village in the Omusati Region on Wednesday.
The Namibian Police Force’s Regional Commander for Omusati, Commissioner Ismael Basson, said the boy who drowned was aged 15 months.
According to Basson, the incident occurred around 15h00, while the child’s guardians were in the resting hut.
