CoW warns against illegal use of fireworks

WINDHOEK, 30 DEC (NAMPA) – The City of Windhoek (CoW) has issued a stern warning to residents regarding the illegal use of fireworks on New Year's Eve.
CoW spokesperson Lydia Amutenya, in an interview with Nampa on Monday, clarified that they are the only licensed body authorised to host a fireworks display, which will be done during the annual New Year Celebration taking place in the City of Windhoek head office parking lot on Tuesday.
