Mariental escapees rearrested, commissioner confirms

MARIENTAL, 30 DEC (NAMPA) – All five inmates who escaped from the Mariental Police Station holding cells on Friday have been rearrested and are back in custody.
Commissioner John Mwantongwe of the Hardap police confirmed the arrests.
“The police authorities managed to capture all of them, and they are currently in police custody,” Mwantongwe told Nampa on Monday.
