OSHAKATI, 30 DEC (NAMPA) - President Nangolo Mbumba has described the late Heikki Shililifa as someone who contributed immensely to Namibia’s independence and to the education of the Namibian child.
Mbumba was speaking at a memorial service held in Shililifa’s honour at Outapi on Sunday.
Shililifa, a former prisoner at Robben Island during Namibia's liberation struggle, was born on 08 May 1942 at Ohamautsi village in the Omusati Region.
