Thirty-five ‘Christmas babies’ welcomed in Khomas State hospitals

WINDHOEK, 26 DEC (NAMPA) – Thirty-five babies were born in State hospitals in the Khomas Region on Christmas Day.
Midwife Getrude Gaingos told Nampa the Central Hospital in Windhoek recorded 12 births - six boys and six girls. The first delivery was recorded at 04h41 and the final delivery at 23h32.
Meanwhile at the Katutura State Hospital, 23 babies (nine boys and 14 girls) were delivered, with the first baby born at 01h25 and the last at 18h17....
