WINDHOEK, 18 DEC (NAMPA) – The secretary general of the Namibia Bus and Taxi Association (Nabta), Pendapala Nakathingo, has urged law enforcement to reconsider its decision to arrest drivers who have outstanding traffic fines during the festive holiday.
The head of the police traffic division, Commissioner Petrus Swartz, has announced that there are nearly 148 000 outstanding arrest warrants for traffic violations across the country.
