Four hand themselves over to the police in Kavango West Region over murder

NKURENKURU, 09 DEC (NAMPA)- Four suspects handed themselves over to the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) in Kavango West Region over assaulting an adult male whose dead body was found at Kakuro village in Nkurenkuru Constituency on Monday.
According to Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga of NamPol, the incident occurred on Sunday at around 21h00 at Kakuro village, and the report was made by the community at around 09h00 on Monday at the Nkurenkuru Police Station.
It's alleged that four suspects, two males and two females, assaulted the deceased with sticks and he died at the spot. It's further alleged that the suspects attacked the deceased after he attacked one of the community members in the area.
The suspects were all arrested and detained at the Nkurenkuru Police Station, where they will be charged for murder.
Muronga further said that the deceased had not yet been identified.
Police investigations continue.
