Tsumeb Municipality plans water tariff hike to fund new treatment plant

OMUTHIYA, 04 DEC (NAMPA) - The Tsumeb Municipality is preparing to increase water tariffs in July 2025 to cover the operational costs of its newly constructed water treatment plant, valued at N.dollars 36 million.
The municipality’s engineer, Manuel Pedro, told Nampa in an interview that consultations are underway with the Ministry of Rural and Urban Development in this regard.
