Over 30 000 votes rejected in general elections: Nghikembua

WINDHOEK, 04 DEC (NAMPA) – Chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Namibia, Elsie Nghikembua, revealed on Tuesday that a total 14 552 votes were rejected in the just-concluded 2024 Presidential elections, representing 1.3 per cent of the total votes cast.
At the final official announcement of the Presidential and National Assembly elections results, Nghikembua in her address said 1 099 582 people voted. Namibia registered a total of 1 449 569...
