City of Windhoek Council once again fails to elect leadership

WINDHOEK, 03 DEC (NAMPA) - The City of Windhoek Council on Tuesday failed, for the second time, to elect political office bearers due to a lack of quorum.
The elections were postponed to Tuesday morning after councillors walked out of a meeting chaired by Magistrate Immanuel Udjombala Monday afternoon. The walkout followed Udjombala’s refusal to grant the councillors a recess.
