Kanyanga re-elected as Rundu mayor

RUNDU, 02 DEC (NAMPA) – Gabriel Kanyanga was re-elected unopposed as mayor of Rundu at a council meeting here on Monday.
Kanyanga has been serving the town of Rundu as mayor since 2020.
Four out of the seven councillors in the town council are from the Swapo Party.
Johanna Kakondo was also re-elected deputy mayor.
Another Swapo councillor, Engelbert Muyenga, retained his position as chairperson of the management committee.
