LPM takes leadership in Swakopmund Municipality

SWAKOPMUND, 29 NOV (NAMPA) – Landless People’s Movement councillor, Blasius Goraseb has been elected as Swakopmund’s new mayor, while Swapo’s Suama Kautondokwa was elected as the town’s deputy mayor on Friday.
The two replace Independent Patriots for Change’s Dina Namubes and United Democratic Front’s David Am-!Gabeb respectively, who were also nominees for the positions.
