Oshikoto police investigate alleged rape incident at Oshali village

OMUTHIYA, 26 NOV (NAMPA) – The police in the Oshikoto Region have reported that a nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped repeatedly by a neighbour at Oshali village.
According to the Namibian Police Force’s crime investigations coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Titus Ekandjo, the girl is suspected to have been raped between 2023 and 30 October 2024 by a boy who lives nearby, and who is a Grade 8 learner at a local school. His age is not known.
