WINDHOEK, 25 NOV (NAMPA) - President Nangolo Mbumba has hailed Swapo presidential candidate Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah as “a morally upright and reliable leader” who he says is better experienced than other presidential candidates in the run for the elections.
Speaking at the Swapo Star Rally in Windhoek on Sunday, ahead of the Presidential and National Assembly elections on Wednesday, Mbumba said there is” no better qualified, better experienced, better prepared, and more patriotic leader” than Nandi-Ndaitwah to lead Namibia.
“This leader is a very strong, patriotic, inclusive, morally upright, reliable, trustworthy and committed party cadre who was born, bred, schooled and matured in the traditions, culture, norms and values of our mighty Swapo Party,” Mbumba said.
He also noted that Nandi-Ndaitwah has conducted meetings with students, farmers, businesspeople, churches and traditional leaders across all 14 regions, to hear their views and concerns.
“She embraced all communities, groups, and individuals, so no one feels left out. Clearly, there is no one now with a similar track record as she has to bring prosperity to the Namibian house and keep it united. Comrade Nandi-Ndaitwah stands head over shoulders above all candidates campaigning for the presidency,” said Mbumba.
