Namibia joins global fight against antimicrobial resistance

WINDHOEK, 15 NOV (NAMPA) – Namibia is set to mark World Antimicrobial Awareness Week 2024 from 18 to 24 November, joining global efforts to combat antimicrobial resistance.
A media statement issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform on Friday said activities led by the Health, Agriculture, and Environment ministries alongside partners such as the World Health Organisation, will take place countrywide.
