NKURENKURU, 14 NOV, (NAMPA) - Special voting election results from Kavango West Region were announced by the Returning Officers for Kapako Constituency and Nkurenkuru Constituency shortly after the counting of the ballot papers Thursday morning.
The results were as follows:

Presidential elections:

Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah 167

McHenry Venaani 11
Bernadus Swartbooi 5
Erastus Shuumbwa 2
Sakaria Likuwa 5
Kumbwa Ambrosius 2

National Assembly elections:

A total of 269 votes were counted in the Presidential election, while 271 were recorded in the National Assembly elections. From the Kapako Constituency, no ballot paper was rejected both from Presidential and National Assembly elections, while for the Nkurenkuru Constituency, seven ballot papers were rejected for the Presidential election and a further five were rejected for the National Assembly elections.
