GOBABIS, 06 NOV (NAMPA) - Close to 100 athletes have registered to compete in the Epukiro centenary commemoration marathon competition scheduled for Saturday at Omaueuozonjanda in the Omaheke Region.
The event's organiser, Japandera Procollo Kamburona, told Nampa the marathon symbolises the long journey travelled by the Epukiro community during the migration period from the concentration camps to the present-day Epukiro Constituency.
