Fuel levies constitute bulk of fuel pump prices

WINDHOEK, 06 OCT (NAMPA) - Fuel taxes and levies account for approximately 50 per cent of total fuel pump prices, highlighting their impact on inflating petroleum prices in Namibia.
The Ministry of Mines and Energy's latest fuel price review for November 2024 shows that the pump price for petrol at Walvis Bay is N.dollars 20.25.
The price for 50ppm diesel is N.dollar 19.72, and 10ppm diesel costs N.dollar 19.82 per litre.
