WINDHOEK, 31 OCT (NAMPA) - Statistician General Alex Shimuafeni has declined to respond to assertions by the Independent Patriots for Change (IPC), who accused the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) of deliberately omitting unemployment data from the 2023 census report.

However, Shimuafeni confirmed to Nampa on Thursday that unemployment data was part of the census enumeration. He stated that this data is set to be released on 29 January 2025.
