Security guard shot, killed in Platz Am Meer robbery

SWAKOPMUND, 28 OCT (NAMPA) - A security guard died on the spot while another was injured in a shooting during an armed robbery which took place at Platz Am Meer Mall at Swakopmund on Monday.
The security guards are employees of Southern Cross Security Service.
Namibian Police Force (NamPol) Spokesperson in the Erongo Region, Chief Inspector Ileni Shapumba, confirmed the incident, which took place Monday morning.
