Parties rush to beat deadline for parliamentary candidates submission

WINDHOEK, 15 OCT (NAMPA) - Several political parties rushed on Tuesday to submit their lists of candidates for the National Assembly election to the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) ahead of the Wednesday deadline.

The Electoral Commission set 16 October 2024 as the final day for political parties to submit their candidates in advance of the Parliamentary and National Assembly elections on 27 November 2024.
