Man allegedly drowns while crossing river

NKURENKURU, 07 OCT (NAMPA) - A 39-year-old man allegedly drowned while trying to cross the Kavango River into Angola on Friday.
According to a Namibian Police Force (NamPol) crime report issued on Sunday, the incident occurred around 16h44 near Kakoro village.
The police identified the deceased as Ndumba Aushona, a resident of Silikunga village.
“The deceased allegedly drowned while trying to swim across the river to Angola,” said the statement....
